Frequently Asked Pricing Questions
Clear answers for Strata Councils and Industrial Facility Managers
Why is there a 2-hour minimum billing standard?
The 2-hour minimum covers dispatch, truck tooling, site diagnostic safety checks, and repair time. Our technicians arrive prepared for common commercial door and gate issues, although parts or follow-up work may still be required.
When is a 2-man crew dispatched vs 1-man?
Repairs to doors or gates that are malfunctioning, standard operator tuning, and diagnostic checks are handled by 1 technician ($120/hr). Heavy commercial sectional doors, 16ft+ high-tension springs, crashed gates, or heavy dock leveller repairs require 2 technicians ($170/hr combined crew rate) for safe structural handling.
Are there hidden travel or mileage surcharges?
No. We do not add arbitrary truck callout surcharges or surprise fuel fees across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Applicable hourly rates, minimums, parts, and any special equipment are communicated clearly.
How do we receive job records and invoices?
After completion, our technicians generate a digital service report with available photos, parts details, and technician notes. Reports and invoices can be emailed directly to your accounting or property-management contact.
