Bob earned his Red Seal for welding in 2012 and spent years in oil & gas and mining before transitioning into the industrial door industry. With a decade of hands-on experience in commercial overhead doors, dock equipment, and gate systems, he saw firsthand how traditional overhead door companies operated — bloated overhead, slow response times, and technicians who didn't have the authority to make decisions on-site.
He started Excel Industrial because he knew there was a better model: keep overhead low, make decisions on-site, and deliver direct-to-client service with clear accountability.
